The Silk Bar by Audere Pure is a solid oil-to-milk facial cleanser. Massage it onto dry skin and jojoba and sunflower oils dissolve make-up, SPF and daily grime. Wet your hands, keep massaging until it goes milky, then rinse. No stripping, no residue.

Can The Silk Bar remove make-up and sunscreen?
Yes. The Silk Bar's oils melt make-up and SPF on contact when you massage it into dry skin, then it rinses away as a milk. For heavy make-up or long-wear SPF, massage a little longer before adding water.

Do I need to double cleanse?
Not usually. On most days one cleanse with The Silk Bar is enough, because the oil lifts make-up and SPF and the milk rinses it away. On a heavy make-up day, a quick second round does the job.

Will The Silk Bar leave my skin tight or dry?
The Silk Bar cleanses with oils and butters rather than harsh foaming agents, which is what causes that tight, stripped feeling. Glycerin draws moisture back into the skin as you rinse, so skin feels hydrated after cleansing.

Does oil cleansing cause breakouts?
Not if it rinses off properly. The Silk Bar is built on jojoba and sunflower, two light oils, and its emulsifiers turn it into a milk so it rinses fully clean, leaving nothing behind to sit on skin. That's why oil cleansing can suit combination and oilier skin as well as dry.

The Silk Bar cleanses with nourishing oils, not harsh surfactants. For sensitive skin, choose Unscented, or Lavender & Rose Geranium if you'd like a scent. It contains shea butter, which comes from a tree nut. If your skin is reactive, patch test first.
